FAQ's

What can I expect when I attend a worship service?
Our worship encounters are contemporary, energetic, and relevant to this generation. We are a spirit filled family. We expect the gifts of the Spirit (as taught in 1 Corinthians 12 - 14) to move freely in our encounters. We want Christ to have freedom to minister to every individual in a personal way. We do not have one style of worship. Our style is as unique as the individuals who make up Riverlife Church. The message is geared towards life change and is relevant in application for daily living with Christ. There is also time during every encounter for personal or church prayer and response to the message.

What Should I wear?
At Riverlife our people dress in many different styles. Everything from business professional to casual. The only Biblical mandate is to be modest in appearance. We want you to come as you are comfortable. God is not looking at our outward appearance but rather at our hearts.

Does Riverlife have a spiritual covering?
Yes. We are a part of the Church of God with our headquarters being in Cleveland, Tennessee. This allows us the opportunity to connect and be a part of a world wide family effectively sharing the gospel of Christ. For more info on the Church of God you can go to (Churchofgod.cc)

How can I get connected?
The best way to connect is to come to a worship encounter. There you will receive info on all of the ministry and connection opportunities offered. Now you are on your way! For those who would like to become a member of Riverlife we offer a new members class taught by Pastor Garvie. In this class you learn more about our beliefs and about the specific ministries of Riverlife Church. These two hour classes are offered at different times and on different days for convenience. Dates will be given upon request.
